Pass Plus
Pass Plus was introduced in 1995 by the Driving Standards Agency. Pass Plus is aimed particularly
at new young drivers. Primarily because this class of drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first
two years of passing their test than any other group and also at any other time in their driving lifecycle.
Pass Plus has 6 modules; Town driving | All-weather driving | Driving out of town | Night driving |
Driving on dual carriageways | Driving on motorways.
Pass Plus is meant to improve new drivers' confidence in all these aspects of driving. It helps new
drivers to acquire valuable extra experience and sensible driving skills that might otherwise take a long period
of time to accumulate.
